Design and construction of a fully integrated building to house a modern metal stamping plant for one of Melbourne's leading manufacturers

Carron Concrete Services was engaged by Dana to design and construct a fully integrated building for this futuristic metal stamping plant, one of Melbourne’s leading manufacturers. This industrial building project involved creating a 1200 square meter building, standing 15 meters tall, with a foundation pit meters in depth. The building structure includes crane rails for a twin 25-tonne crane with a 30-meter bridge span. The site posed significant challenges as it is in saturated sand with ground water at 900-mm. Despite these obstacles, our team expertly managed the construction, completed the project on time and within budget.
