Due to water restrictions a rainwater tank needed to be constructed underground. We also had to underpin the adjacent homes so we could install the 20,000 litre water tank in the front garden.
This inner city property required a pool to be built over a carport. Complete with Badu swim jet, automatic infloor cleaning system and spa jet.
Excavation under 2 storey heritage listed structure held up on 3 sides by bored piers and capping beam. the 4th side needs serious underpinning. Underpin excavation was performed by hand and concrete pumped in. Basement slab and suspended slab are reinforced and constructed.
A basement is to be constructed beneath an existing 1867 heritage listed 2 storey building. These images relate to the start of that project.
Prior to major excavation for current work, trees may need to be relocated so as to ensure their survival for transplanting or subsequent reinstatement.
